Our Breath & Tummy Ticklers are perfect for pooches who suffer with tummy issues which as you will know if you have one can effect the breath too, not to mention the other end !!!! These little stars are made using the freshest of ingredients, we use fresh Mint (when available) which is an obvious remedy for bad breath & has many additional benefits for you and your dog. It is recommended for the relief of stomach aches as it combats indigestion, overcomes excess gas, and helps relax muscles responsible for stomach cramps. Mint also has antibacterial properties, and can therefore assist in the treatment of urinary tract infections and other fungal issues. It contains several nutrients that can be used to help fight free radicals, including vitamins A and C and manganese. It is even a good source of iron, fibre, calcium, vitamin B2, potassium, copper, magnesium, and omega-3 fatty acids. Finally, mint can stimulate the immune system and strengthen the body’s ability to ward of illnesses and infections. We also use fresh Parsley (when available) which can act as a breath freshener, parsley contains flavonoids, antioxidants, and vitamins. It’s also a source of lycopene and carotenes. The colour of these biscuits comes from activated charcoal. We use food grade activated charcoal which is powdered or granular carbon, processed in such a way that makes it extremely porous. The result is a black sand-like substance that can be taken orally to absorb toxins in the body and purify the body by speeding up the elimination process. If given soon enough after ingesting a harmful substance, the toxins will be absorbed by the charcoal and kept from getting into the blood stream. These absorption properties are also responsible for activated charcoal’s ability to help rid a dog of bad breath internally and reduce gas by removing foul odors from the stomach and intestines. The biscuits will keep in an airtight container for 4-6 weeks and will freeze for up to 3 months.
